Kar Wye Phoon

Kar Wye (pronounced “car why”), also known as KP is employed as a Lawyer and works in the Wills and Estates department under Principal Lawyer Rebecca Healy.

Kar Wye completed her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws at the Australian National University and worked as a consultant in Canberra for over 5 years, before being admitted to legal practice in the Australian Capital Territory in 2023.  She began her legal career at a community legal centre, where clients experiencing challenging circumstances appreciated her meticulous and methodical approach together with her calm and empathetic demeanor.

Outside of the office Kar Wye enjoys playing her cello and getting acquainted with the local rail trails and markets all around North East Victoria.

Kar Wye is based in our Wangaratta and Myrtleford offices, but is also available to attend other offices for client appointments.
