Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law


Helen Collins is an Accredited Specialist with over 20 years of practice in law.

 

Helen’s experience in Personal Injury Law started when she acted for victims of crime, including those injured by domestic violence. Her early career experience in criminal law and family law adds to Helen’s ability to understand the plight, depth and nuances of her clients’ lives impacted by a devastating injury or accident. 

 

In 2013, the Law Institute of Victoria recognised Helen’s expertise in personal injury law when it awarded her with accreditation as a specialist.

 

Helen also practices in property law matters. Helen’s inexhaustible passion for knowledge means that Helen enjoys challenges presented in complex matters.

 

Helen’s clients appreciate her genuine interest in discerning various complex issues in their matters and exploring the best possible solutions. They also appreciate Helen’s expertise, caring nature and hard work, which she applies in each of her matters.

 

Helen has represented regional Victoria on the Victorian WorkCover Authority Legal Liaison Group and presented at the Australian Lawyer’s Alliance Victorian State Conference.

 

Helen also holds a Bachelor of Science and is passionate about the environment. Helen actively practices and encourages others to live sustainably and responsibly for the benefit of present and future generations.

 

Helen joined Nevin Lenne Gross in 2001 as an associate solicitor before becoming a principal of the firm in 2016.

 

Helen is based in our Wangaratta office and also attends our other offices for client appointments.
